Duplex Inspection

During a duplex inspection, your home inspector will examine a property to identify any potential flaws or damages. A property inspection will include detailed reports on the indoor, exterior, plumbing, electrical systems, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system, and foundation.

Your inspector will conduct a visual in-depth duplex inspection of the and look at these areas of the property:

  1. Roof
  2. Attic space
  3. Rain gutters and downspouts
  4. Exterior stucco or paint
  5. Electrical panel, light switches, and power outlets
  6. Thermostats and heating, cooling, and ventilation (HVAC) system
  7. Plumbing fixtures, faucets, and water heater
  8. Appliances
  9. Walls, ceilings, and floors
  10. Doors and windows
  11. Stairs, steps, and railings
  12. Porches and balconies
  13. Walkways and driveways
  14. Basement
  15. Foundation 

Your home inspector will also offer ancillary services to our customers while they are there including, FLIR Thermal imaging, Garage Inspection, Home Energy Audit, Mold Inspection, Pool and Spa Inspection, Sewer Scope Inspection and Termite Inspection.

When the home inspection is complete on the duplex, the home inspector will create a report on the findings of the duplex along with pictures to better explain their findings. The report will be available to view in 24 hours of the home inspection.
